Harewood Holistics LTD – Health & Safety Declaration / Waiver

By booking a class, treatment, workshop, retreat, immersion or event with Harewood Holistics LTD, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Health & Safety Declaration / Waiver. You acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

1. Health Disclosure

• You agree to inform Harewood Holistics LTD, your instructor, or your therapist of any injuries, medical conditions, allergies, or health concerns before your first session and whenever there are any changes to your health.

• If you are pregnant, you must inform us in advance. You understand that certain classes or treatments may not be suitable, particularly during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

• You agree that failure to disclose relevant health information may affect your safety and participation.

2. Assumption of Risk

• You acknowledge that yoga, Pilates, fitness classes, outdoor activities, workshops, and holistic treatments may involve physical exertion and carry a risk of injury or illness.

• You voluntarily choose to participate and accept full responsibility for any risks associated with participation, even where instructors or practitioners have taken reasonable care.

• You understand that certain activities may not be suitable for individuals with specific medical conditions, and you confirm that you have sought medical advice where appropriate.

3. Medical Responsibility

• You understand that treatments and classes offered by Harewood Holistics LTD do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.

• You are responsible for consulting a medical professional if you have any concerns about your suitability to participate.

• You confirm that any medical information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

4. Guest Bookings

• If you book a guest onto any class, workshop, or treatment, it is your responsibility to ensure they complete this waiver prior to attendance.

• We may send the waiver directly to your guest.

• We reserve the right to refuse entry to any participant who has not completed a waiver in advance, and no liability will be accepted for any incident arising from their participation.

5. Outdoor Activities

• You acknowledge that some sessions may take place outdoors or include outdoor components.

• You accept that outdoor environments carry additional risks such as uneven ground, weather conditions, and natural hazards.

• You participate in these elements entirely at your own risk and release Harewood Holistics LTD, Harewood Estate, and all instructors from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.

6. Personal Responsibility

• You agree to take responsibility for your own body and wellbeing during all sessions.

• You will inform your instructor or therapist immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, or distress during a session so that adjustments can be made.

• You understand that you may stop participation at any time.

7. Liability Waiver

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harewood Holistics LTD, its employees, contractors, and associated practitioners shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or illness arising from participation in any class, treatment, workshop, retreat, or event.

• By attending, you agree to release Harewood Holistics LTD from any and all claims arising from your participation.

8. Hygiene & Conduct

• You agree to maintain respectful behaviour toward staff, practitioners, and other clients at all times.

• You agree to follow hygiene expectations appropriate for shared wellness spaces.

• We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

9. Data Protection (GDPR Consent)

• You consent to Harewood Holistics LTD securely storing and processing your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR.

• You understand your information will only be used for the purpose of delivering services safely and managing your bookings.

• Your data will be stored securely and not shared with third parties except where required to deliver services (e.g. booking systems, payment processors).

10. Acknowledgement of Agreement

By completing your booking, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood this Health & Safety Declaration / Waiver

• You voluntarily accept all risks associated with participation

• You agree to abide by all terms stated above

• You understand participation is at your own risk
