Hot stone massage is a speciality full body massage where we use smooth, heated stones as an extension of our hands. The treatment uses basalt hot stones to deeply relax muscle tension. The heated rocks are placed on your body and massaged into soft tissues to loosen tension. You’ll find the heat can be both deeply relaxing and release tight muscles. This specialist massage for mothers to be can aid in the reduction of muscle pain especially in the back, neck, hips, legs and feet. The aim is to reduce stress, particularly on weight bearing joints, whilst promoting circulation and relaxation.

We only use positions that are safe for you and your baby, to aid in reduction of fluid retention and oedema whilst working on tender muscles. This treatment is for mothers in their second trimester onwards.

Sports massage is provided by our specially trained therapists who has the skills to recognise more complicated muscular problems that may require more than a massage.
