200 Hr Vinyasa
Jamie Yoga Teacher Training at Harewood Holistics on Harewood Estate is ideal for anyone who loves Vinyasa or Vinyasa Flow yoga. You don’t need years of practice or an advanced level to become an Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher — the most important thing is a passion for yoga, whether you want to deepen your own practice or share it with others.
Founder Jamie Blowers, alongside anatomy lecturer Dr. Sumi Chattejee, has developed effective methods over many years to nurture trainees toward their highest teaching potential. With over 450 graduate journeys across the country, Jamie’s experience ensures every trainee receives guidance drawn from real-world teaching.
The training emphasises teaching beginners, helping you master the principles of asana practice and breath connection. Learning to teach beginners effectively builds a strong foundation for retaining students and progressing to intermediate levels.
The course offers a supportive, fun, and challenging environment. With small class sizes, Jamie provides continuous evaluation, personalised coaching, and encouragement, helping each trainee grow with confidence while enjoying the journey in a friendly, professional atmosphere.

About Jamie
Jamie Blowers is a senior Yoga Teacher, Yoga Coach, and Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) trainer, with a BA in Dance Studies and an MA in Choreography. Published in yoga research and passionate about modern yoga identity, Jamie is a self-described yoga technician who shares precise asana technique and teaching practices to support physical and mental wellbeing.
Jamie’s yoga journey began at It’s Yoga International in the U.S., studying under the late Larry Shultz. In 2007, he completed 200-hour YTT and trained as a first-generation Rocket® Yoga teacher directly with Larry Shultz and his wife Marie in 2009. He later became an associate trainer for both It’s Yoga 200 YTT and Rocket® Yoga TT in 2010. In 2014, Jamie developed his own Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training programme, reflecting his teaching experience and research, and has been delivering it across the UK ever since.
Jamie’s classes are dynamic, energising, and technically detailed, challenging students to embody their practice fully while developing strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. His trainings invite practitioners to explore the key principles of the Vinyasa Yoga System, combining contemporary Western perspectives with proven techniques to deepen both practice and teaching proficiency.
In Jamie’s own words: “Following in the footsteps of my teacher Larry Shultz, I am passionate about offering a vision of teacher training informed by thousands of hours of teaching, studio management, workshops, masterclasses, and yoga holidays across Europe. My goal is to help each student develop individuality, practical teaching skills, discipline, and integrity, supporting self-development while enjoying the journey alongside a community of peers, many of whom become lifelong friends.”
