Rest Nest: Deep Relaxation

Indulge in the ultimate sanctuary for your body and mind with the ‘Rest Nest’, where deep relaxation is not a luxury, but a necessity. Soften and unwind with Tash in this special event that incorporates a harmonious blend of restorative yoga, gentle self-massage techniques, calming pranayama (breathwork), and the transcendental practice of Yoga Nidra.

To begin, we will settle the body and mind with some mindful movement and gentle pranayama. Then, you will be guided into several deliciously floor-based restoring poses. Picture yourself sinking into plush, supportive bolsters and blankets, allowing tension to melt away with each soothing breath. Each pose will be held for about 8-10 minutes or for as long as is comfortable. When the body is in a state of deep comfort, the mind is encouraged to sink into a state of profound rest, releasing deep-seated layers of tension and stress in the body and mind.

We will close the class with the luxurious practice of a Spring/Summer themed Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep. In this guided meditation, you'll journey through the layers of consciousness, unlocking deep states of tranquillity and inner peace. This profoundly restorative experience leaves you feeling replenished, revitalised, and ready to embrace life with renewed vitality.
