About the event
Adapt the special and unique yogic living practises to nourish and thrive your individual body type.
Dipti, a licensed Ayurvedic Therapist, Tea Connoisseur, and Nutritionist, will be hosting this workshop on Ayurvedic wellness and tea blending.
Ayurveda's expertise and its age-old hidden techniques provide you with the ideal treatment for unbalanced and distressing bodily and mental wellbeing, enabling you to thrive.
Have you ever wanted to try yogic cuisine? This programme starts with a wonderfully fascinating session where participants may learn a little bit about the basics of Ayurveda, seasonal Ayurvedic practises, and how to prepare easy therapeutic milk blends to increase immunity, enhance sleep quality, promote warmth, and balance hormonal health.
We are naturally prompted to spend more time outside during the summer, and while fresh produce is abundant, so are summer herbs and spices. You will be foraging your own summer herbs from the Harewood Estate as part of this one-of-a-kind tea blending experience. A large variety of traditional Ayurvedic herbs, spices, and flowers are also included.
We then move on indoors where we talk about the Ayurvedic significance of drinking herbal tea and how to carefully select ingredients to create multiple different and unique herbal tea blends that can be suited to your lifestyle needs and body imbalances.
You will hand-blend your own distinctive herbal tea mix to take home after assorting and sampling a variety of tea mixes. After the busy sessions, you will be treated to a relaxing gong bath session allowing everyone to relax and unwind. Fresh Indian Tea and Ayurvedic refreshments will round out the workshop, and participants will have the chance to connect with workshop host Dipti to ask any questions they may have about Ayurveda, seasonal daily routines, or how to determine your Ayurvedic body type.
The rituals of healing, such as wholesome food, exercise, detox tea blends, and Ayurvedic self-care routines, will be made available to you during this immersive half-day course, encouraging you to improve your wellbeing and invite serenity and balance during this time. You'll gain insight into the real strategies for establishing a mindful seasonal change and leave feeling grounded and motivated.
