About the event

Yoga has a wonderful positive way of affecting our mood especially when we are feeling stuck within the dark days of winter. Our yoga practice gives us the ability to turn on the tap to allow the flow of energy within. The dragon dance may just be the lift that your mind, body and soul needs this January. If you love a vigorous yoga practice but also like to feel the energy of the practice through awareness of movement and breath then join Laura to experience the joy and wonders of the wonderful practice that is the Dragon Dance.

Flexibility is not just about being able to touch your toes, it’s also about been flexible in your mind and learning the dance will certainly challenge you

mentally and physically. Be prepared to experience the fire of the dragon which will stimulate your energy flow and in the process remove any blockages both mentally and physically.

Laura will expertly guide you through the dance to the point where there is just nothing but the energy of breath and movement working together as one. After the fire the practice will transition into the yin phase where postures within the dance are held for a few breaths to strengthen and create space within the joints.

As the practice draws to a close and while you can still feel the energy of the flow you will give and receive an energy massage to help continue the healing

that the Dragon Dance has stimulated at a deep unconscious level. Here you will be able to take a moment and really internalize how you feel and enjoy the stillness after the heat of the practice.

As Laura guides you towards a delicious shavasana you will be gifted the chance to move with awareness through a Cloud Salutation, flowing with your breath as you grow quite in mind, body and soul, preparing you for your final rest in stillness.

Seriously this will be just the best way you could ever spend your Sunday and the feeling you take home from the Dragon Dance at Harewood Holistics will

stay with you for the days to come.
