What to expect

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic vinyasa style practice very much guided by the breath so that it becomes a flowing meditative experience. Nichi will adapt and teach to the attending students, offering modifications and adjustments depending on ability and feedback. Mainly following sequencing from the primary and sometimes intermediate series you can expect a fully rounded practice that helps build strength, stamina and mobility and leaves you feeling energized and focused. Nichi has been teaching yoga for over 21 years and first came to it through ashtanga. Nichi teaches in an inclusive and intuitive way and encourages her students to observe and tune in to physiological and emotional feedback as they practice whilst keeping a strong connection to the breath.
